*** RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondent No.1 i.e. Director, Rural Development & Panchayats, Punjab to decide the petition bearing No.212 of 2023 titled as "Gurdeep Singh versus Gram Panchayat & another" (Annexure P-11) .

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed the petition under Section 199 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 for cancellation of the resolution dated 26.05.2022 passed by the Gram Panchayat Lassara, Tehsil Phillaur, District Jalandhar being illegal and arbitrary before respondent No.1. He further submits that despite the submission of written arguments by the petitioner, respondent No.1 has failed to decide the petition. Notice of motion to the official respondents at this stage.
