***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.174 dated 24.12.2014 under Sections 379/411/414/420/465/467/468/471 and 120-B IPC and Sections 413/472 and 473 IPC (added later on) at Police Station Majhitha, District Amritsar Rural. Vide order dated July 29, 2016, petitioner was directed to be released on interim bail.
According to learned State counsel, out of 56 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 05 have been examined till now. On instructions from SI Palwinder Singh, he submits that prosecution shall endeavour to examine its remaining witnesses as early as possible.
In view of the above, interim order dated July 29, 2016, whereby petitioner was granted interim bail is made absolute subject to the petitioner furnishing fresh bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court and subject to such terms and conditions as the trial court may deem fit to impose.
