(Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is inter alia for directing the official respondents No.1 to 3 to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.5 to 8. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 (State). Copy of the petition has already been supplied to the State through e-mail. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondent No.3 - Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the grievance of the petitioner as stated in the representation dated 09th March, 2021 (Annexure P-3) and take appropriate action. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, to look into the representation dated 09th March, 2021 (Annexure P-3) and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law.
