(Oral) Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, has appeared in this case in pursuance of the copy of the present petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance and he has submitted the status-report {by way of the affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Majitha, District Amritsar (Rural)} in the Court today and the same is taken on the record. However, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that the petitioner would raise all the pleas, as may be permissible to him under law, before the trial Court at the appropriate stage.

Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn accordingly.
