Crl. Misc. No. M-13414 of 2017 -1IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH Crl. Misc. No. M-13414 of 2017 Date of decision :- 21.04.2017 Jaswinder Kaur ....Petitioner versus Ravinder Singh @ Rama
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE RITU BAHRI
Present:
Mr. Peeush Gagneja, Advocate for the petitioner **** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of impugned orders dated 08.01.2016 and 04.07.2016 A bare perusal of impugned orders shows that the complainant/petitioner availed eleven effective opportunities to conclude her pre-charge evidence. The complainant never made a request to the Court to procure the presence of the witnesses by adopting coercive method. On 04.11.2015, the complainant could produced only one witness i.e Gurdev Kaur and her examination in chief was recorded and cross examination was deferred due to paucity of time and the case was adjourned on 08.01.2016 and on 08.01.2016, no witness of the complainant appeared and the complainant did not enter into witness box to make her own statement.
Thus, the orders passed by the Court below do not suffer from any infirmity.
The petition stands dismissed.
