Criminal Misc. No.M-1337 of 2015 -2cannot be sustained. Reply on behalf of the State has been filed.
Learned counsel representing the complainant seriously disputes the contention raised by the counsel for the petitioners about marriage. He states that the complainant was forced into marriage by blackmail as her objectionable pictures had been obtained by petitioner No.1 which were used by him to further his diabolic designs.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and noticing that the F.I.R. discloses the commission of a very serious offence, this Court would not accept the plea of innocence of the petitioners. It is a settled principle of law that if the F.I.R. discloses the commission of a serious offence, the Court would not venture to quash the proceedings.
No grounds.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for permission to withdraw the petition. Allowed to do so.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
