Through the instant petition, prayer is made for quashing of FIR No.27 dated 22.02.2013, under Sections 36(1), 36(3) of Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 1955, and, Section 420 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sirhind, District Fatehgarh Sahib. 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in the FIR (supra), which has been registered way back in 2013, a Cancellation Report was filed by the investigating agency, however, it was not accepted by the learned Magistrate concerned, rather directions were issued for further investigation. However, despite specific directions, no further investigation has yet been carried out in the FIR (supra). 3.
Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, his client would be satisfied, in case, a direction is passed upon the investigating agency to expedite the pace of the on-going investigation. 4.
Taking into consideration the innocuous and bona fide prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to DEVINDER YADAV 2024.02.29 09:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-10403-2024 2024:PHHC:027983 direct the investigating agency to, within three months from today, conclude the investigation in the FIR (supra) and thereupon, promptly filed the Final Report before the learned Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate/trial Court concerned.
