Singla, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG, Punjab --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.30 dated 10.2.2022, under Sections 406, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sadar Nabha, District Patiala (Annexure P-1) with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. Direction has also been sought to stay the further proceedings of the aforesaid FIR.

Learned State counsel submits that cancellation report in the present FIR has been prepared on 16.4.2022 and will be presented before the Court within a period of 4 weeks.

In the light of above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the instant petition and seeks permission to withdraw the same at this stage.
