Mr. Samarth Sagar, Addl. Advocate General, Haryana - SUDHIR SINGH , J.(ORAL) Petition herein is for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to delete the names mentioned at Serial Nos. 16,17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 36, 37, 51 and 74 in the Municipal voter list from Assembly and transferred to other wards (Annexure P/5) as election of Municipal Corporation, Kanina is scheduled to be held on 02.03.2025.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a number of representations were filed before respondent No.1 and the said representations were then referred to respondent No.3. Further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, his pending representation dated 03.01.2025 (Annexure P-3) is decided by respondent No.3 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Narnaul, Tehsil and District Mohindergarh, which have not been adverted to by the respondents, till date. On the other hand, on advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel appears and opposes issuance of notice of motion. He submits that grievance of the petitioners will be looked into by respondent No.3 and it shall take decision either way, on pending representation (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek reply by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider pending representation dated 03.01.2025 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner and pass an appropriate reasoned order, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 12 days, from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order. 6.
