NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 158 dated 28.07.2023 (Sections 376D and 376DA were deleted on 29.07.2023) Sections 376 and 506 were added, later on and Sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, registered at Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga.

Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 04.03.2024, which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been in custody as an undertrial for a period of 07 months and 07 days.

After arguing for some time, when this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press this petition, at this stage. Dismissed as not pressed, at this stage.
