SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (Oral) This is second petition filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.301 dated 19.12.2022 under Sections 307, 324, 323 IPC (Section 307 IPC deleted vide Rapat No.17 dated 09.03.2023 and Offence under Section 326 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station, City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib (Annexure P-1).

Learned State counsel, on the basis of custody certificate, submits that the petition has been rendered infructuous since the petitioner has been convicted vide judgment dated 04.03.2025 passed by the SDJM, Malout. 3.
