Mr. S.K. Choudhary, Advocate for the petitioners. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J The petitioners are uncle and aunt of one Varun Sokhal, who got married with Gurpinder Kaur daughter of respondent Nos.4 & 5. Said Varun Sokhal and Gurpinder Kaur have since gone to Australia. As the petitioners participated in their marriage, respondent Nos.4 & 5 are inimical to the petitioners and are harassing them.

It is alleged that respondent Nos.4 & 5 had trespassed the house of the petitioners on 20.12.2018 along with some anti social elements and threatened them to call back Gurpinder Kaur and Varun Sokhal, failing which the entire family will be implicated in criminal case. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted a representation dated 21.12.2018 (P.4) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. It is nowhere mentioned in the petition that the petitioners at the first instance have approached respondent No.3-SHO, Police Station Sadar Jamsher, District Jalandhar with their grievance.
