Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for quashing the order dated 29.01.2018 (Annexure P-5) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala, whereby the application filed by respondent No.1 under Section 256 Cr.P.C., has been allowed. 2.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Although a request for video conferencing was made, however, no one has joined the proceedings. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.

In view of the above, having left with no other option, present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 4.
