MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of respondent No.4. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the wife of the petitioner, respondent No.4 is having an extramarital affair with one person by the name of Lucky; since he has been dissuading his wife from continuing with the illicit relations, she along with said Lucky has been threatening him of dire consequences, in which regard representation had also been made to respondent No.2Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, however, it has failed to yield any desired results. He submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the representation dated 11.01.2024 (Annexure P-8) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
