Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner had applied for the post of VLDA as advertised vide Advertisement No.3 of 2023 dated 07.03.2023 (Annexure P-1) in the category of BC(A) but the petitioner is being considered in the general category. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the petitioner came to know from the admit card that the petitioner is being considered in the general category, the petitioner approached the respondents by filing a representation dated 28.12.2023 (Annexure P-5) so as to change his category according to his application form to BC (A) but no action is being taken by the respondents, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the grievance raised in the present writ petition has already been raised by the petitioner in the representation dated 13.02.2024 (Annexure P-8) which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner by passing an appropriate speaking order.

Mr. Harish Nain, learned Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 6.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2024 (Annexure P-8) has been received in the concerned office and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the authorities concerned within a period of four weeks from the receipt of copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 8.
