In the instant case, there are two accused who are facing trial in the present murder case, namely, Ajay and Ankit. The present petition has been filed by petitioner - Ankit.

Learned State counsel submits that there are a total of 30 prosecution witnesses, and all of them have already been examined. The prosecution evidence stands closed, as the list of witnesses has been exhausted.
