The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the inquiry report dated 20.07.2022 (Annexure P7) and order dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P11) passed by respondent No.2. 2.
Learned counsel would submit that name of the petitioner was recommended for continuation on contract basis vide letter dated 20.12.2023 (Annexure P10). However, the contract has not been renewed merely on account of inquiry report dated 20.07.2022 (Annexure P7). These aspects have not been taken into consideration by the competent authority. He prays that liberty be granted to petitioner to bring to the notice of the authorities all these facts supported by documents to substantiate them, for which she would file a representation within 10 days. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is sanguine of it being considered in a positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting her an opportunity of hearing.
