***** SUDHIR SINGH, J. (ORAL) Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the process to conduct wardbandi of the Village Kheri, Tehsil and District Sangrur, for the year 2023. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, petitioner has already sent a legal notice dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) to the concerned authority, but the same has not been adverted to by the respondents till date.

On the other hand, on advance service of copy of petition, learned State counsel appears and opposes issuance of notice of motion. He submits that grievance of the petitioner will be looked into by concerned authority/ respondent No.4 and it shall take decision either way, on the pending legal notice dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks a decision on the pending legal notice, as suggested by learned State counsel. MAHAVIR SINGH 2024.03.07 14:31 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/ judgment

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek reply by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/ or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the relief sought for herein, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider legal notice dated 08.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/ production of this order.
