(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.281, dated 28.07.2021, registered at Police Station Islamabad, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise and affidavit dated 18.02.2022 (Annexures P-2 & P-3). Pursuant to order dated 15.03.2022, report dated 14.06.2022 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any pressure, threat, duress or influence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.281, dated 28.07.2021, registered at Police Station Islamabad, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar, under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
