* * * * RAVI SHANKER JHA, C.J. (ORAL) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a direction to the respondent-authorities to refund the earnest money deposited by him while participating in the tender proceedings. Mr.

Dhananjay Mittal, learned counsel, appearing for respondents No. 2 and 5, on instructions, has produced a letter dated 31.03.2022 issued by the Chief Accounts Officer, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula, which is taken on record and marked as Annexure 'X', wherein the Manager, HDFC Bank, Sector-17, Chandigarh has been directed to refund and release the amount to the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing further survives for adjudication in the writ petition and the same may accordingly be disposed of.

Taking the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the statement of learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 5 on record, the writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court in case any cause of action survives or arises.
