**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (Oral) Petitioner by way of instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is inter alia seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to investigate the matter in a fair manner under the supervision of any Higher Rank Official against respondents No.5 & 6 and call the status report in case FIR No. 8, dated 04.02.2021, registered under Sections 323, 354-B, 376, 452, 506, 34 IPC, lodged at Women Police Station, Kurukshetra, District Kurukshetra. A further prayer for issuing directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to arrest the private respondents No.5 & 6, has also been made. Learned State counsel on instructions has apprised this Court that the cancellation report has been prepared in the case in hand and is likely to be filed before the trial Court in the near future.

He has also invited the attention of this Court to the reply filed by way of affidavit of DSP, Kurukshetra, wherein, it has been specifically stated that the allegations levelled by the complainant in her complaint were found to be untrue and hence cancellation report had been prepared on 31.03.2021. JAWALA RAM 2021.04.

CRM-M-12471-2021 - 2 - In the wake of submissions made by learned State counsel in Court today, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to take recourse to the remedies as may be available to her under the provisions of law.
