ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.135 dated 31.10.2015 (Annexure P1) registered under Sections 420, 466, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Division Bassi Pathana, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

This petition is pending since 2016 and notice of motion was issued on 02.05.2016. Thereafter, the case was adjourned, however, no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioners. Reply filed by way of affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Bassi Pathana, District Fatehgarh Sahib is on record and as per the reply, after completing the investigation, challan was presented before the Magistrate on 23.08.2016 and thereafter, charges were framed. It is apparent that the case is now fixed for the prosecution evidence. Since, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, this petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
