(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to decide the stay application dated 24.10.2024 filed along with the revision petition (ROR No.29 of 2024) (Annexure P-2). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that although the Revision Petition was filed by the petitioners on 24.10.2024, however, till date, no effective hearing has been afforded to them. 3.
On advance service of copy of petition, Ms. Upasana Dhawan, AAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondent-State. 4.
Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Deepak Saini, Reader to Financial Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary, Haryana, submits that a new incumbent has joined on the post of Financial Commissioner, Haryana and in all probability, the stay application filed by HIMANI GUPTA 2025.02.20 13:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh
CWP-4406-2025 (O&M) -2the petitioners along with the revision petition shall be considered and decided by the concerned Officer/Authoritiy on the date fixed i.e. 12.03.2025 and in any case, not beyond a period of two weeks thereafter. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioners, keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition however, he further prays that the petitioner would also move an application seeking preponement of hearing in the revision petition (ROR No.29 of 2024)/stay application, accordingly necessary directions may be issued for consideration of said preponement application.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however it is observed that in case, any application seeking preponement of hearing in the revision petition (ROR No.29 of 2024)/stay application, is filed by the petitioners, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law.
