(Oral) Short reply by way of affidavit of Surjit Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Raikot, District Ludhiana (Rural) on behalf of respondent No.1 filed in the Court is taken on record. Counsel for the State would submit that a cancellation report has been prepared in the matter but the same would be filed in the Court shortly.

Counsel for the petitioner, in view of the reply, would state that the petition may be dismissed as withdrawn but without prejudice to rights of the petitioner to file a fresh petition in case the cancellation report is not accepted by the Court.
