Mr.Yashwinder Singh,DAG Haryana assisted by ASI Ramesh Kumar Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to accused petitioner Charandass in case FIR No.31 dated 13.4.2016 under Sections 18,29 of the NDPS Act,PS Siwan,Distt.Kaithal.

The son of the petitioner/accused namely,Lal Chand was apprehended by the police and a recovery of 05 kgs., of poppy husk from him was effected. On his alleged disclosure statement that his father i.e. present petitioner is also involved, the name of the petitioner has surfaced. It was contended that a false case had been foisted upon the petitioner,who is working as a Labourer in various mandis and is not involved in any criminal activities.

Vide order dated 2.5.2016, petitioner was directed to join investigation and was granted interim bail.

CRM-M 14626/2016 Learned State counsel on instructions submits that petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.
