**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for grant of interim bail in FIR No. 13 dated 3.3.2019 under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Mullepur, District Fatehgarh Sahib by extension of order dated 13.2.2020 (Annexure P-2) for six weeks for surgery of his mother.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner is the only male member in the family who has been looking after his mother and she has to be operated because of heart ailment. He has shown the medical record vide which the mother of the petitioner is being hospitalized. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kirat Singh Sidhu, DAG, Punjab, present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Copy of the paper book has been supplied to him.

CRM-M No. 8362 of 2020 -2granted to the petitioner is extended.

Since the petitioner has not misused the concession of interim bail and his ailing mother is to be operated for heart ailment, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 13.2.2020 is extended for two weeks i.e. from 28.2.2020 to 7.3.2020.

The petitioner shall surrender before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate, Fatehgarh Sahib, on 07.3.2020 at 2.00 P.M., who shall send him into custody, in accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed of.
