The present appeal has been filed by the appellant-defendant against judgment dated 09.09.1986 passed by learned Sub Judge Ist Class, Phillaur and judgment dated 25.09.1989 passed by learned Additional District Judge, Jalandhar, whereby both the Courts below had erroneously decided all the issues against the appellant-defendant.

None had been appearing for the appellant in the present case since 2015 as and when this case was taken up for hearing. Therefore, learned State counsel was requested to inform the Block Development and Panchayat Officer of the area. It being an appeal preferred by the Gram Panchayat through Sarpanch on an information was provided by him that Sh. Vivek Chauhan, Advocate had been engaged on behalf of the appellant but as per office report, there being two advocates with the same name i.e. Sh. Vivek Chauhan in Bar directory, both had been informed but denied to have been engaged in this case. Ankur Goyal 2023.11.09 11:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
