Complainant in the present case is learned District and Sessions Judge,Gurdaspur.
Petitioner accused was facing summary trial in a complaint case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881 and was enlarged on bail. Since he jumped bail in the subsequent prayer for grant of anticipatory bail by giving medical certificate for his nonappearance, the learned Sessions Judge has proceeded to lodge the FIR by doubting the veracity of the medical certificate issued in the light of statement made by issuing Dr.Nipun Mahajan denying the issuance of said certificate.
