CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR
Present:
Mr.D.R. Punia, Advocate, for the petitioner.

**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner-Kirandeep Kaur @ Nanu in FIR No.179 dated 30.12.2013 for the offence under Sections 376 & 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Meharban, District Ludhiana. It is contended that during the pendency of the petition it was stated that father of the prosecutrix had agreed to marry his daughter with the petitioner, the petitioner was ordered to be released on interim bail on his furnishing adequate bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Thereafter, on his release, the petitioner married the prosecutrix on 15.5.2017. Both the parties are present in Court today along with the father of the prosecutrix, who admits the factum of marriage. In view of these facts, it is argued that the petitioner should be admitted to regular bail. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.
