Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari to set aside order dated 29.03.1974 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned Assistant Collector, Ist Grade, Bhiwani; order dated 31.12.1974 (Annexure P-2) passed by the learned Collector, Bhiwani; and order dated 05.08.1998 (Annexure P-4) passed by the learned Financial Commissioner, Haryana.

A perusal of order sheets reveals that on 04.07.2024, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Notice in CM-8189-CWP-2024 was issued on 18.05.2024, however, there is no representation on behalf of the non-applicant/petitioner.

In the interest of justice, adjourned to 18.10.2024. Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the petitioner be notified of the date fixed."

2.1 Thereafter on 18.10.2024, despite notice of the application (CM-8189-CWP-2024) being served upon the petitioner, no one appeared on his behalf; and even today, despite second call, the position is same. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the instant matter any further.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
