(ORAL) The petitioner herein has sought the relief of anticipatory bail in the criminal case arising out of the FIR bearing No.25 dated 14.02.2021 registered at Police Station Sadar Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, under Sections 307, 364, 511, 323, 148 and 149 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

Status-report on behalf of the respondent-State (by way of the affidavit of D.S.P., Sub Division, Sri Muktsar Sahib), as forwarded by learned State counsel to the Court through email, is taken on the record. Learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Ashok Kumar, from the above-said Police Station, apprises the Court that in NEETU RANI 2022.01.11 18:37 I attest to the accuracy of this order PHHC

compliance of the order dated 16.03.2021, as passed by the Co-ordinate Bench, the petitioner has joined in the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required and he is also not involved in any other criminal case of the similar nature and moreover, the offences under Sections 307/364/511 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act have been deleted/dropped in the subject FIR.

The factum of above-said offences having been deleted from the said FIR also finds specific mention in para No.6 of the status-report. In view of the afore-said facts and circumstances, the instant petition is allowed and the relief of interim bail, as extended to the petitioner by the Co-ordinate Bench vide the order dated 16.03.2021, is hereby made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall continue to join in the investigation as and when required/called upon to do so and shall also strictly abide by all the conditions as laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
