The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of orders dated 06.10.1999, 18.08.1998, 08.08.1997 and 17.02.1997 whereby he was dismissed from service and thereafter his appeal/revision was dismissed.

The petitioner joined service on 10.10.1990 and he was dismissed from service on 17.02.1997. The reason of dismissal from service was absence from duty for 111 days. The authorities have returned finding to the effect that despite repeated notices and opportunities, the petitioner did not come forward which compelled them to dismiss him from service.
