******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Respondents served but none has appeared on their behalf. Petitioner has sought direction to respondent No.2 for fair investigation in case bearing FIR No.111 dated 13.10.2018 registered at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 120-B of Indian Penal Code. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to look into the grievance of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as giving direction to the police with regard to merits of the submission of petitioner in his representation (Annexure P-2). ( SURINDER GUPTA ) July 31, 2019.
