This petition has been filed by petitioner Ved Prakash seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of 18 detenues, whose names are mentioned in para No.2 of the petition, who are alleged to be illegally detained by respondents No.4 and 5.

Pursuant to order dated 27.2.2023, a Warrant Officer had been appointed to visit the premises of respondents No.4 and 5. 3.

Report dated 1.3.2023 of Warrant Officer has been received as per which all the detenues had already been released and had left the premises alongwith the petitioner. The aforesaid report is taken on record. The concluding portion of aforesaid report dated 1.3.2023 reads as follows: "........... In view of above, it is submitted that all the 18 labourers mentioned in para No.2 of the aforesaid case had gone with the petitioner with their own will and after the satisfaction PANKAJ KAKKAR 2023.03.10 14:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-1895-2023 (O&M) of the petitioner undersigned proceeded back to Chandigarh after making entry in the police station vide DDR No.12 dated 28.02.2023 at 11:01 A.M."

In view of the aforesaid report, no further directions are required to be issued.
