Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 06.08.2003, whereby the claim of the petitioner for appointment as Lecturer in English (Female) has been rejected.

Learned State counsel refers to para 4 of the written statement dated 26.09.2005 filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, wherein it has been stated that since there was no vacancy created of SC (Majhabi) Female category as such, the petitioner could not be appointed. Moreover as is mentioned in the speaking order, the select list, which was valid for 6 months, had expired on 13.05.2002 and all the posts of direct quota had been abolished and ban imposed on recruitment. 3.
