PARAMJEET SINGH, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of concession of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.53 dated 02.04.2015 registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station Sadar, District Amritsar.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
This Court, while issuing notice of motion on 30.04.2015 directed that in the event of arrest, petitioner would be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/investigating officer in connection with abovesaid case FIR. On instructions from ASI Paramjit Singh, learned State counsel informs that petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for interrogation.
