**** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 3294 dated 1.4.2017 under Sections 135, 138, 150 of the Electricity Act, 2003, registered at Police Station Irrigation and Power, Karnal.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated April 25, 2017 passed by this Court, the petitioner has already deposited Rs. 3.5 lacs with U.H.B.V.N.L., Israna and has joined the investigation.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Satpal, does not dispute the aforesaid fact and states that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required at this stage. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. Since the petitioner has joined the investigation, the present petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2017.09.06 16:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
