PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been moved invoking jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. The petitioner is seeking quashing of FIR No.415 dated 17.07.2021, registered for offences punishable under Sections 420, 406 and 120-B of IPC, 1860 at Police Station Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar and all subsequent proceedings arising thereto on the basis of compromise.

Vide order dated 29.02.2024 the parties were directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/Trial Court on 02.04.2024. Report has been received from the concerned quarter that none of the parties came present to get their statements recorded. Even today none has come present, the Court thus infers that the compromise if any stands frustrated.
