The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.54 dated 04.04.2024 under Sections 323 & 379 read with Section 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur on the basis of compromise deed dated 15.02.2025 (Annexure P-2).

Vide order dated 05.03.2025, it was directed as:- "The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of FIR No. 54, dated 04.04.2024, under Sections 323, 379, 34 of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur. (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 15.02.2025 (Annexure P-2) along with the case and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

CRM-M-10364-2025 -2Mr. Didar Singh, Advocate for Mr. Amit Kumar, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and has filed Power of Attorney. He admits the factum of compromise entered into between the parties.

List on 03.04.2025.

In the meantime, the parties are directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court within a period of two weeks from today, for recording of their statements with regard to the compromise.

The trial Court is directed to submit a report on or before the next date of hearing containing the following information:- (i) Number of persons arrayed as accused in the FIR; (ii) Whether any accused is declared as proclaimed offender? (iii) Whether the compromise is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence?

(iv) Whether the accused persons are involved in any other FIR or not?

Pursuant thereto, a report vide letter No. 225 dated 24.03.2025 was received from Judicial Magistrate First Class, Gurdaspur as per which, apart from the accused Pardeep Kumar, who is in custody in some other case, no other accused or the complainant appeared for getting their statements recorded in support of the compromise.
