#$% "& Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.87 dated 01.09.2014 registered at Police Station Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur under Sections 21/25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Vide order dated 30.04.2015 while issuing notice of motion, the petitioner was directed to put in appearance before the trial Court and was granted interim bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner in compliance of the previous orders dated 30.04.2015 has appeared before the trial Court and has been released on bail, and which have not been controverted by learned State counsel Mr.C.S. Brar, Dy. Advocate General, Punjab on instructions from HC Jatinder Singh.
The petitioner has only absented from the trial Court on one date and no prejudice has been caused to the State. Thus, in the light of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 30.04.2015 is made absolute on the same terms and conditions.
