1. Whether reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

2. To be referred to the reporters or not?

3. Whether the judgment should be reported in the digest? ***** LISA GILL, J.

Petitioner, who was working as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) at the time of filing of the present writ petition, sought a direction to the respondents to consider his claim for promotion to the post of PGT Hindi. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that petitioner's appointment to the post of PTI has since been set aside, though a review petition is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in this regard. Keeping in view the abovesaid factual position, this writ petition is rendered infructuous, at this stage.

Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

CWP No.5103 of 2019 [2] Needless to say, in case of a decision in the review petition being in favour of the petitioner and his appointment to the post of PTI being upheld, liberty is afforded to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings, if so advised, in case of any subsisting grievance.
