**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India r/w Section 3 and 5 of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022 for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order 21.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.4.

In compliance of order dated 28.02.2023, learned State counsel has filed the status report by way of an affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sarai, Faridabad along with report of the Doctor/Surgeon, who would be performing the surgery on the petitioner, in the Court today, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Learned State counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to para 4 of the said report wherein it stands reflected that the petitioner is due to undergo Bilateral Hip Replacement Surgery of left side on 14.03.2023. The Doctor has also reported that after the surgery the petitioner would SONIA BURA 2023.03.10 18:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-1923-2023 -2require 2 to 3 weeks for his rehabilitation. In the circumstances, the parole granted to the petitioner on 23.12.2022 is extended for a further period of six weeks. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Authorities on 24.04.2023 before 5.00 pm.
