**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) On 17.02.2026, the following order was passed:- The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS is for quashing of the order dated 28.11.2025 (Annexure P-6) passed by the CJM, Fazilka in case FIR No.0007 dated 01.02.2019 registered under Sections 324, 353, 186, 427, 506, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station City Fazilka, District Fazilka whereby the regular bail granted to the petitioner was cancelled and his bail bonds and surety bonds were ordered to be cancelled and forfeited to the State. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on account of bereavement in the family of the petitioner, the petitioner was unable to appear before the Trial Court on 25.11.2025 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that he is ready and willing to join proceedings once again.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week VISHAL SETHI 2026.05.01 15:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-9106-2026 -2- from today subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building, Manimajra, Sector 13, Chandigar and on his doing he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. In deference to the aforementioned order, the petitioner has surrendered before the Trial Court and has since been released on bail. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
It is expected that the petitioner shall not absent himself from the Trial without sufficient cause.
