The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as respondents No.4 to 16 are threatening the petitioner and his family members and to decide the representation dated 07.02.2025 (Annexures P-1 and P-2) submitted by the petitioner. 2.

The present petition is disposed of with the liberty to the appropriate authority to decide the representation dated 07.02.2025, which has been addressed to the DGP as also to the SSP, Tarn Taran, within a period of 02 weeks from today.

The speaking order so passed to be conveyed to the family members of the petitioner as the petitioner is stated to have passed away. 4.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
