SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 7, parents and relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 04.03.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Amandeep Kaur is 29.12.1995 as per copy of Secondary Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Harjinder Singh is 20.06.1985 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 22.02.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
