(Oral) The petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of the order dated 23.01.2019 vide which the petitioners have been declared proclaiimed offenders in FIR No.164 dated 25.09.2018 under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga. On 28.02.2024, the following order was passed :- "The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of the order dated 23.01.2019 (Annexure P-9) vide which the petitioners have been declared proclaimed offender in FIR No.164 dated 25.09.2018 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga.

The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that two coaccused namely Darshan Singh and Jaswant Singh faced Trial and were acquitted vide judgment dated 22.05.2023. Be that as it may, now a compromise had been arrived at between the petitioners and the complainant which is on record as Annexure P-2. He, therefore, contends that the impugned order was liable to be quashed.

Notice of motion for 09.04.2024.

In the meantime, the operation of the order dated 23.01.2019 (Annexure P-9) is stayed. The petitioners are directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of two weeks from today and on their doing so and on payment of costs of Rs.1,00,000/- with Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped, Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building, Manimajra, Sector 13, Chandigarh, they shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of Trial Court."

In deference to the aforementioned order, the petitioners have surrendered and were granted interim bail. In the meantime, they have also got recorded their statements and the FIR in question stands quashed vide order of the even date.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
