The petitioner joined Haryana Police as a Constable on 13.01.1974. He was time to time promoted to higher rank. He was subjected to punishment of dismissal from service vide order dated 25.03.1998 (Annexure P-19). The said order was modified by Appellate Authority and punishment of dismissal from service was substituted by forfeiture of one increment with permanent effect. He preferred revision which was adjudicated after filing of the instant petition. 2.
