The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of an appropriate direction to respondents No.1 to 3 for taking action against respondents No.4 to 9 in FIR No.101 dated 13.11.2023 under Sections 307, 323, 324, 325, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 302 IPC added later on vide DDR No.39 dated 13.11.2023) registered at Police Station Lohian, District Jalandhar Rural.

At the very outset, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who appears on advance notice, on instructions from ASI Bhajan Singh submits that the grievance raised by the petitioner in the present petition has been substantially redressed, as the investigating agency has concluded the investigation and submitted the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. on 10.02.2024 against four accused, who were arrested; whereas two accused have been declared innocent and three are yet to be arrested.
