******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR No. 201 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379-B, 337, 338 of Indian Penal Code at Police Station Cantonment, District Amritsar on 12.09.2016. The petitioner is continuously in touch with the police but no action has been taken, so far. A representation was made to this effect to the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-3. Despite representation given to the police, no further action has been taken.
Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsare to look into the representation made by petitioner Annexure P-3 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
