(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner for issuance a direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 23.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner is the complainant in FIR No. 71 dated 15.05.2011 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 307/148/149 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station Sadar, District Freozepur and despite expiry of about 4 years, the challan has not been presented as the FIR is still under investigation. It is further contended that petitioner is now being threatened and was picked up time and again by the police. Notice of motion to respondents No. 1 to 4 only at this stage. For the grievance of petitioner that he has threat to his life and liberty, he has already filed a representation dated 23.04.2015 (Annexure P-3) before respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur.

The instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to look into the allegations contained in representation dated 23.04.2015 (Annexure P-3), and take appropriate steps, if required, in accordance with law.
